Decoration quotes vary more than almost any other wedding cost, because two setups that look similar in a photo can use very different amounts of fresh flowers, stage width and labour. This guide lists our current starting prices and explains the handful of decisions that move a quote up or down.

Fresh-flower volume is the biggest lever
The single largest variable in a decoration quote is how many fresh flowers go into it. Roses, orchids and imported blooms cost far more per square foot than marigold, chrysanthemum or artificial structural work.
The practical advice is to concentrate flowers where the camera goes. One full stage or mandap photographs better than the same budget spread thinly across the entrance, aisle, ceiling and tables.
Stage span, ceiling work and venue access
A 40-foot convention hall stage needs more backdrop, more drape and more hours than a 16-foot community hall stage. Ceiling drapes and hanging installations add material and rigging time, and they depend on what the hall's ceiling can carry.
Load-in timing also matters. If a venue only releases the hall a few hours before guests arrive, the setup needs a bigger crew to finish in time.
Multi-function weddings
Most families book haldi, mehendi, nikah or muhurtham and the reception as one package. Sharing one palette across functions lets backdrops, drapes and props be reused and restyled, which usually costs less than quoting each function separately.
